In spite of some technical difficulties the company was experiencing, yielding an unavoidable delay in their ability to keep to the original start time, they did a fantastic job packing, transporting, and unpacking our furniture. They worked into the night and in the rain with professionalism and care for us and our belongings. Highly recommend.

Exceptional from start to finish! Ernest was so helpful getting everything scheduled, and Jahaad and Michael showed up on time and was very thorough with caring for all the furniture and fragile items. Unpacked and set up exactly how it was needed. Ernest was in contact checking in with me making sure everything was going good. I will & have recommended Get a Grip to several friends.

I have moved several times in the past six years, both in Illinois and Florida. Get A Grip was superb in their moving procedures throughout the entire moving process. I had a short window to accomplish this move, and at the very start of the planning process with Get A Grip I felt I was in good hands. Brittany was extremely helpful in quoting the job and following up as we began to initiate the move. Ernest and his team were the BEST! They were careful, polite, helpful, and organized. The furniture was wrapped with care, loaded and unloaded from the truck and placed where I wanted. They cleaned up all debris after the unwrapping of furniture. I'm not a young person -- in my early 80's and was extremely anxious about the coordination of the move, but Get A Grip Moving made it as smooth as moving your household can be. I would definitely highly recommend them.
Response from the owner:Thank you tremendously for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review, Laureen! It was absolutely our pleasure to handle this transition for you, and we are so grateful that you chose us to do so. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can ever support any of your future packing and/or moving needs!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had an excellent experience with Get A Grip Moving! We hired them to move a couch from one home to another over 20 miles away, and they exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

The crew was incredibly fast, professional, and took exceptional care of our furniture. They carefully wrapped and protected everything before loading it, making sure the couch arrived in perfect condition. Once we got to the new house, they didn’t just drop it off—they placed everything exactly where we wanted it and made sure it was set up properly.

On top of their great work, they were friendly, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire move. It’s not often you find a company that combines speed with such careful attention to detail.

I highly recommend Get A Grip Moving for both local and long-distance moves. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional moving company that treats your belongings like their own, these are the people to call!

If we could give Ernest and his team 10 stars, we absolutely would! They packed and moved our entire household with exceptional care and professionalism. Ernest and his crew were polite, respectful, hardworking, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. They carefully wrapped and secured every item, making sure everything arrived safely and in perfect condition.

Moving can be stressful, but they made the entire process smooth and worry-free. Their attention to detail, efficiency, and genuine care for our belongings truly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Ernest and his team to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. Thank you for an outstanding job!

We couldn’t be happier to hear that you had a stress-free moving experience and hope to be there for you again if you ever need us in the future!

Both men who worked were wonderful. They presented themselves in a manner that would make any manager proud. From beginning to end they gave 125 percent of their effort evening 90 degree weather. Both men were great.
Response from the owner:As the owner, this means absolutely everything to us! One of the most overlooked, undervalued, and taken for granted factors when moving is the weather. Rain, heat, and/or a mixture of other elements are what our movers overcome, manage, and work around.

We truly thank you for allowing Get A Grip Moving Inc to be a part of your journey!
