- Inventory(Not a survey): A list of household goods that is labeled with the condition at the origin, what the item is, what room the item was or is in, and the condition the item(s) is in at the destination done by the van or truck operator and signed by the carrier, customer, shipper, and or authorized agent of the shipper. The physical items will have a number on them that will be the same on the inventory list for shipment that the customer and the carrier will both have a copy of to confirm the conditions of the items at the pickup and origin.
Note: A survey is actually seeing what is being moved through either pictures, a video, or in person.
